How much does Prisa cost?

Prisa costs $39/month and includes your first 3 students. Each additional student is $5/month. If you pay annually, you get a 20% discount (that's $374.40/year instead of $468). There are no setup fees, no transaction fees, and no hidden costs. You keep 100% of what you charge your students.

How is billing calculated?

Billing is based on the number of students in your roster. The first 3 students are included in your monthly fee. Each additional student costs $5/month. Charges are calculated daily and prorated when you add or remove students.

Is there a free trial?

Yes! You get 14 days completely free with full access to all features. You can add up to 3 students during your trial to test all features and see if Prisa is right for your business. Cancel anytime during the trial with no commitment.

Do my students need to pay anything?

No. Students get full access to the mobile apps and web portal at no cost. You handle your own payment arrangements with students directly (bank transfer, PayPal, Stripe, cash - whatever works for you). Prisa never touches your payments or charges transaction fees.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. Cancel with one click from your dashboard anytime. No questions asked, no cancellation fees. If you're on a monthly plan, you'll have access until the end of your current billing period. Annual plans are prorated if you cancel early.

What's the difference between Prisa and marketplace platforms like iTalki or Preply?

Do I need technical skills to use Prisa?

Not at all! Prisa is designed for tutors, not developers. If you can use Facebook or WhatsApp, you can use Prisa. Everything is point-and-click: upload content, add students, set your availability, and you're ready to go. We also provide onboarding videos and support if you need help.

Can students access Prisa from their phones?

Yes! Students get iOS and Android mobile apps included at no extra cost. They can book lessons, view content, complete assignments, track their XP and streaks, and message you directly. Students who prefer desktop can use the web portal. Both work seamlessly together.

Does Prisa include video calling for lessons?

Prisa includes native integrations with Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and open-source Jitsi. You choose whichever platform works best for you - we don't enforce any particular one. Prisa automatically generates meeting links and sends lesson reminders with your preferred video call platform, making it seamless for both you and your students.

What languages does Prisa support?

Prisa's interface supports English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, and Turkish. Both you and your students can set their preferred interface language independently. The platform works for teaching ANY language - you just upload your own content in whatever language you teach.

How does the gamification system work?

Students earn XP points for attending lessons, consuming content, completing assignments, and finishing daily quests. They maintain login streaks and compete on monthly leaderboards. Students stay anonymous using nicknames, so you can encourage friendly competition while protecting privacy. The leaderboard resets at the beginning of each month, giving every student a fresh chance to be the monthly winner. Gamification dramatically increases engagement - students check the app daily to maintain their streaks and climb the rankings.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is yours. We'll never sell or use your data for any purpose. After 30 days of cancellation, data is permanently backed up securely for privacy.

Is there a limit on content uploads?

Storage is free as long as usage stays reasonable and isn't abused. We encourage creativity and want you to share as much content as you need. There are no limits on the number of blog posts, assignments, or lecture notes you can create. Individual file uploads have size limits: 75MB for videos, 5MB for archive files (PDFs, documents), and 1MB for images. We reserve the right to set storage limits in the future if needed, but our goal is to support your teaching without restrictions.

Can I use Prisa for group classes?

Yes! Tutors can create availability slots for each proficiency level separately, and students can opt-in for empty slots. Group credits are separate from private credits - they're counted, credited, and used independently, so you can charge different prices for group and private class credits. Each group class has slot attendance limits you control. The same cancellation and rescheduling rules apply to group classes as private classes. Students in the same group class can see each other during class and on the leaderboard, creating friendly competition. Each student in a group class counts as one student in your roster.

Can students have repeating weekly classes?

Yes! Students can schedule multiple repeating weekly classes at once. They choose how many recurring classes they want, and Prisa automatically checks your availability calendar to find matching time slots. If some requested times don't fit your schedule, we'll clearly highlight those conflicts so students can adjust. The system automatically handles credit balance checks, credit reduction when booking, and credit deduction after each class - you don't need to manage any of this manually. It's all automated.
